Welcome to the Maharashtra State Co-operative Banks' Association Ltd. (MSCBA), Mumbai. Established in 1939, MSCBA has been at the forefront of promoting and nurturing co-operative banking in Maharashtra for over eight decades. Our journey is a testament to our commitment to co-operation, inclusivity, and financial empowerment.

Our Legacy
The roots of MSCBA can be traced back to the recommendations of the Bombay Provincial Banking Enquiry Committee, 1929-30, led by the late Sir Janardhan A. Madan. This esteemed association officially commenced its operations in October 1939 and has since completed 79 remarkable years. Our legacy is built upon the guidance and dedication of eminent figures such as Shri R.G. Saraiya, Shri V.L. Mehta, Shri D.R. Gadgil, Shri D.G. Karve, and Shri Vasantdada Patil. Their visionary leadership has paved the way for our enduring success.
Our Unique Membership
MSCBA is distinctive in that it represents a wide spectrum of co-operative banking institutions. Our members include State Co-operative Banks, District Central Co-operative Banks, and Urban Co-operative Banks. As of March 31, 2023, we proudly count 1 State Co-operative Bank, 31 District Central Co-operative Banks, 3 Nominal Co-operative Banks and 341 Urban Co-operative Banks among our valued members.

To work alongwith District Central Co-op. Banks and Urban Co-op. Banks in the State of Maharashtra to promote uniformity of Co-operative Banking Practice.
